We invite you to read the latest CPJS publication. This time, we dealt with a statistical description of the results of strength tests of reinforcing steel EPSTAL.
EPSTAL steel producers perform steel rod tensile tests thousands of times in one year (several hundred times for some diameters) as part of factory production control. These are tests repeated many times under the same conditions, giving different results. There is therefore a full basis for a probabilistic description of the mechanical parameters of EPSTAL steel bars, which is presented in this publication.
